THE SPRITE WaY

Further proof that community is all we need. The Sprite Way was our social media strategy created in order to rep the community and connect with culture. Our goal has always been to elevate the creators and arbiters of culture in hopes of taking the next step in their creative careers. In essence, we just put the megaphone on to their mouths and magic followed. From music videos, to live concerts, to mentoring, this was a way UP.

So we wanted to use our platform to help our audience push the boundaries of where hip hop culture can go.

Are you a featured artist on Sprite Way?

We’ll get you on stage at the BET Awards.

Are you an aspiring photographer?

We’ll get you a cover for The Fader.

Are you an up-and-coming designer?

We’ll give your capsule collection space at ComplexCon.

Sprite “putting you on” will be a seal of approval.

What if being “put on” by Sprite becomes the new Roc chain?

We put on shows. Lots of em. Small. Large. Continued listening to our fans. And continued building the community.

SPRITE GINGER

When there’s hiphop. There’s street fashion. So we expanded up The Spriteway to budding young designers and gave them a shot to work with the one and only Jeff Staple from Staple Pigeon to give Sprite Ginger the drop it deserved.

HOLIDaYS aRE THE NEW SPICY SEaSON

If you’re gonna cut the very popular Sprite Cranberry and replace it with the NEW Winter Spiced Cran things are gonna get a little … spicy. So we created a help line to take all the smoke. To continue the spicy season vibe, on Twitter and IG we put on a spicy selfie roast sesh with Atlanta’s own Soul Food Cypher and the one and only Big Baby D.R.A.M to put the word out.

Then we set up an actual Holiday SpiceLine hosted by D.R.A.M. so fans could tell us how they really felt about the change.

TBH what the holidays need are a little spice, and we’re not talking about the basic pumpkin variety. Nothing is out of bounds — especially holiday sweaters. So we brought in Atlanta’s own Soul Food Cypher to freestyle about it and to do a live roast of Sprite fans on Twitter looking for tips on their holiday drip.
